Fred Mobility Solution for Microsoft Retail Management System – Store Operations 2.0.
Mobile Computing Applications (MCA) built on Windows Mobility 2005 devices such as the Intermec CN#3 or Symbol MC 70 integrates with Microsoft Retail Management System Store Operations to enable the user to automate purchasing, stock-take, goods receiving & price checking functions.
The application is used in online mode (wireless). Stock take worksheets created in Microsoft RMS can be downloaded to the Handheld device to enable the user to count & scan stock items. On completion the counted items can be uploaded to Microsoft RMS to complete the physical stock count and calculate any variances.
MCA enables the user to create purchase orders while moving around the store by simply scanning the items & inserting the required quantities. In order to receive stock items the purchase orders can be downloaded or the items can be received online via the hand held device.
