ADSL Installation
Description
Once your phone line is provisioned, we connect up your ADSL router and ensure that it is working on any computers.
Includes
- Connecting up your modem/router
- Changing network settings to get your ADSL working
- Configuring any port forwarding settings required by the store
- Installing antivirus software on any computers as well as configuring and testing any required email client
Expected Outcomes
- Internet access available from all relevant computers
- Any email account required to be setup is configured and tested
- Antivirus software installed on any computer accessing the internet
- Configure router for any existing remote access programs (security camera, Terminal Services)
Excludes
- Any parts required to connect up the ADSL such as modem/router, new network switch, cabling or network cards for computers
- Provisioning the line. This must be completed before our visit is scheduled
- Performing any cabling work which may affect network performance or workplace safety or where AUSTEL certification is required
- Setting up or configuring any wireless networking devices
Additional Charges
- Any travel over 50km from the nearest capital city GPO is charged at $99/Hr (GST inc)
- Any additional software or parts required to complete the job
- Connection to a broadband account is conditional on the account being available and the phone line being activated for the service. The customer must ensure they have all the necessary configuration details, and that the Cable/DSL Broadband Internet Service is activated prior to arranging the on-site installation; otherwise additional charges shall apply
